Treasure Coast SCORE Presents Service Awards

Treasure Coast SCORE Chapter 308 presented service awards to seven of their counselors at a dinner meeting on Friday evening, October 24 at Anna Bella’s Restaurant in Fort Pierce,

·         5 years - Lee Boettcher, Mitch Kiamie, Joe Parris, and Mal Schwalje

·         10 years - Jim Nugent and Tom Turynowicz

·         15 years  - Bob Howells 

Jim Robertson, District Director for the Southeast District of SCORE, was on hand to review last fiscal year’s results for the district and all of SCORE.  Counseling volume for the Treasure Coast Chapter of SCORE was up 18% over last fiscal year.

Treasure Coast SCORE counselors have direct experience in business start-ups, manufacturing, high technology, insurance, public relations, printing, legal, and real estate, banking, finance, tax, distribution, information technology, materials, engineering, construction, sales & marketing, acquisitions, turnarounds and divestitures.

SCORE Chapter 308, has its main office in Fort Pierce offering counseling Monday through Friday. Our satellite offices in Hobe Sound (Fridays), Vero Beach (Mondays and Tuesdays) and Sebastian (Monday) offer scheduled counseling appointments.  We also offer counseling on an appointment only basis at the Jensen Beach and Stuart/Martin County Chambers.

SCORE provides no-cost, confidential business counseling with expertise in a wealth of business and business-related areas.  SCORE Chapter 308 is a resource partner with the Small Business Administration and covers Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Glades and Okeechobee Counties on the Treasure Coast.
